Job Description: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Business Development Executive with a proven track record in the development sector. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience working with international agencies such as UNDP, WHO, UN, GIZ, and other relevant organizations. As a key member of our business development team, you will be responsible for driving growth and expanding our presence in the international development market. This is a unique opportunity to make a significant impact by leveraging your expertise and network to drive business development initiatives for IKTAR.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement strategic business development plans to drive growth and expand market presence in the international development sector.
• Cultivate and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including UNDP, WHO, UN, GIZ, and other international agencies, to identify business opportunities and partnerships.
• Lead the end-to-end business development process, including prospecting, proposal development, negotiations, and contract closure.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop tailored solutions that address client needs and priorities.
• Stay abreast of industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities to inform business strategy and positioning.
• Represent IKTAR at conferences, networking events, and industry forums to enhance brand visibility and foster new partnerships.
• Track and report on business development activities, pipeline progress, and revenue forecasts to senior management.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, international development, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development, sales, or partnership management within the international development sector.
• Proven track record of successfully securing and managing business with international agencies such as UNDP, WHO, UN, GIZ, and other relevant organizations.
• Strong understanding of the international development landscape, including funding mechanisms, donor priorities, and emerging trends.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills, with the ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders.
• Strategic thinker with a results-oriented mindset and a passion for driving impact in the development sector.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) preferred.
• Fluency in English; proficiency in additional languages is a plus.
